Check out the Singkil Swamp for seeightseing the Orang Utan, Crocodiles, Flowers and Birds in the swamp.

In Balai Island tourists will meet the inhabitants of this island because Balai Island is the most populous island in the Banyak Islands. The journey continues by visiting the West Coast, Posal Pulau Balai Coast. Tourists are also taken to see the sunset at the Pier and see the Lobster Pond. In addition to Balai Island, in the Many Islands there are beautiful islands that you can visit including Sikandang Island, Tambarat, Panjang, Lambudung Island, Biawak Island, Asok Island, and Palambak Island. Surely on these islands there are many exciting activities that can be done including beach strolling, snorkeling and taking pictures.

For those of you who are marine lovers, you should be obliged to visit the Kepulauan Kepulauan. Because there will be a lot of beauty that you can save and certainly make you want to return to this island.

Now You can visit most of the Islands around Banyak. For Islands that are near Balai you can ask fishermen to drive you there, they usually give you a rather good price. It is also possible to go by Speedboat, they are much faster, but also more expensive.

Here are tips for you to reach banyaks:

You can use the ferry that starts in Singkil every Tuesday and Friday. on tuesday It departs at about 10 AM and 02:00 PM at friday. You must buy tickets in the harbour for 25.000 Rupiah. You can also bring your Motorbike to the island for additional 50.000 Rupiah. After about 4 hours you will get to the Island called Balai (the island group is called Banyak). There are also many local boat (wooden boat) to and from Balai, it is usually no problem to get on those local boats, but there is no departure schedule. The price is 50.000. Another way to get to any island is using Speedboats. They cost around 1.000.000 Rupiah and they drive on demand.
Please Note: There is no ATM on Banyak. In Singkil there is no ATM that takes VISA (not sure if Mastercard works). Even in bigger neighbour cities it is impossible to find ATMs that accepts VISA. It is strongly advisable to take enough Rupiah to Banyak. If you ask around you find people that exchange Euros and Dollars but under very bad conditions.
